Outsider Opera is dedicated to cultivating and diversifying the American opera art form through thought-provoking, progressive new works that uplift and invigorate our communities. Through our daring and inventive productions, our mission is to step outside traditional expectations and connect audiences with this transformative art form and its artists. Outsider Opera strives to foster and celebrate both emerging and established composers. We aim to serve as a cultural haven by creating a welcoming operatic community in which new and practiced audiences alike may feel a sense of belonging.
